Sustainability will focus on ‘net-zero carbon footprint’ as majority of today’s travelers are keen to do business with companies that care about the carbon footprint and the environment.
With regard to Wellness, as more and more guests opt for healthier lifestyle, opportunities can be found in ‘Food-and-beverage innovation’, such as offering unique and locally sourced food-and-beverage options that not only attract food enthusiasts but support local communities.
Hyper-personalization thru virtual reality and augmented reality might include custom room amenities, tailored entertainment options, virtual reality tours and AI-generated artwork or music. Hotels can offer packages combining leisure with work-friendly amenities.
Generation shift towards Gen Y and Z preferring photo-ops to the “cookie-cutter” approach.
